TrafficCompressor Privacy Policy

Traflabs company, the owner of TrafficCompressor service, respects
the privacy of TrafficCompressor users. TrafficCompressor software
contains no Spyware or Adware.
- We do not collect any personal information (like telephone numbers,
e-mail addresses, credit card information, passwords and so on) about
TrafficCompressor users or www.TCompressor.com web site visitors
without explicit notice and user's knowledge.
- We do not rent, sell, or share any personal or non-personal information
about TrafficCompressor users to third parties.
Apart from this, we disclose information about our users only if we are
required to do so by law, or if doing so is necessary to comply
with legal process, respond to any abuses, or protect the rights, property,
or safety of the TrafficCompressor service and its partners.
- We do not use any personal or non-personal information about our
users to send unsolicited email (spam) or for our own or third party
advertising campaigns.
What Information Does the TrafficCompressor Service Collect?
TrafficCompressor service collects two types of information about our users:
- TrafficCompressor assigns a unique number to each
computer where TrafficCompressor program is used.
The number is required for TrafficCompressor
network protocols and does not contain any personal information.
The number is kept on a user's computer
and is transmitted with account name and password
to the TrafficCompressor server to distinguish user
network connections from each other.
- TrafficCompressor server collects in the log files
IP addresses of the users and IP addresses
of the Internet hosts that the users connect to via TrafficCompressor server.
When a user connects to the a TrafficCompressor server via a proxy server,
the IP address of the proxy server is collected in the log files as well.
That information is collected for technical purposes and is subject to
paragraphs 2 and 3 of this Policy.
When you browse a web site with TrafficCompressor service your IP address
is transmitted to the web server by TrafficCompressor server. It is a standard
feature of any non-anonymous HTTP proxy server.
What Information Does www.TCompressor.com Web Site Collect?
www.TCompressor.com web site collects standard information in server log files.
It contains IP addresses and HTTP headers.
That information is collected by any other web site and it does not contain
any personal user information.
Any information that web visitors enter into online forms on www.TCompressor.com
web site and forums on TCompressor.com domain is subject to paragraphs 2 and 3
of this Policy.
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer.
The cookie will enable
us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and
knowingly provided. The only personal information a cookie can contain is
information you supply yourself. A cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or
read cookie files created by other sites.
TCompressor.com web sites use cookies to fill out regularly-used forms automatically
and to make the forums usage more convenient.
The www.TCompressor.com web site and the forums on TCompressor.com domain currently use
Google AdSense service
to provide third party advertisements to various sections of the sites. Those
advertisements are governed by
Google Privacy Policy.
The www.TCompressor.com web site and the forums on TCompressor.com domain currently use
Google Analytics

to gather the access statistics to our web sites. That
statistics system is governed by

How to Extend Your Privacy?
At any time, you can disable TrafficCompressor for any Internet protocols
(HTTP, POP3, IMAP, or other) or for any Internet hosts.
To use this disabling feature, open "TrafficCompressor Preferences" dialog box from
the system tray icon menu and go to "Protocols" or "Hosts" tab.
Also, you can temporarily disable all TrafficCompressor functions by clicking
"Disable TrafficCompressor" item of system tray icon menu.
